Ahhh…shoes. What sick gene has implanted itself in the female race that MAKES us go around looking at shoes that we’ll never be able to afford? Well…never say never. But Blahniks? They scare me….in a really good way.
Tonight I stopped off at the mall to torture myself…I met my friend Kelli, who is THE Tiffany’s authority. She wanted to pick out some new make-up, and I wanted to look at jewelry at Tiffany’s. And, alas, we did both of those things and also ended up wandering longingly through the holy mecca of shoes, otherwise known as Saks. I’m pretty sure this one bright red pair laughed at me.
Is there really any prettier site than this?
Well, maybe, becuase the picture quality isn’t so great. Sorry about that! But really…Tiffany’s. Looking at insanely expensive jewelry was the highlight of my night. We played around at the mall for a while, then decided we were too hungry to do a whole lot of real shopping. So we parted ways and I came home STARVING and promptly ate dinner backwards:
Then I got down to business with some simple pasta and a side of peas. It sounds kind of random, but I actually love peas (not when they get mushy though–that’s the worst. I like them to have lots of flavor and pop.) Here they are cooking happily on the stove top:
Then I dumped the pasta on top of the warm spinach and added in laughing cow and sharp cheddar, and that’s it! It’s really good with crumbled turkey bacon too, but I didn’t have any. Bummer. Still, it was tasty and satisfying. I LOVE pasta!
Question: After you work out, do you wash off your make-up, then reapply? Lately I’ve been wondering…I don’t want to dry my skin out, but sometimes I’ll work out directly after work, then want to go to dinner or something. I usually wear make-up out, but I obviously shower after working out. So I start all over. Then I have to wash off my make-up AGAIN before I go to bed so I don’t break out. Such a process! Thoughts??
